The Role

We are looking for an experienced, energetic, and hard-working person to join part of our commercial team as a Senior Account Manager – Flexibility. In this role, you will be responsible for working with a select number of our key accounts covering both large gas peakers and batteries.

You will manage this vertical and be responsible for the maintenance, retention and upsell of these customers. You will lead the trading and optimisation relationship with Shell, and be the voice championing customer needs through the business.

This role will report directly to the Head of Account Management. In addition, this role may come with the possibility of one direct report.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Act as a visible subject matter expert within the commercial team, managing the relationships of a select number of our highest value strategic customers.
  • Act as the voice of the customer, ensuring pain points in the customer journey are shared within the business.
  • Represent the team at key customer and internal management meetings as an attendee and/or presenter, following through by writing reports that provide value.
  • Understand customers’ business needs and provide in-depth knowledge of the industry, including competitor insight.
  • Motivate and withstand our wider team’s functions, which include Trading, Trading Analytics and Product, to drive truly outstanding results for the customer.
  • Develop and maintain meaningful, effectual relationships with key client stakeholders.
  • Attend and facilitate customer meetings and site visits with our Engineering colleagues, to develop relationships and to build technical understanding.
  • Liaise with contractors and partners to identify opportunities and develop relationships.
  • Use your industry contacts to generate referrals within relevant industries in the sector.
  • Review and optimise existing contracts to unlock opportunities and benefits.
  • Work with Business Development to structure package solutions across Limejump’s PPA and flexible offerings.
  • Deputise for the Head of Account Management on occasions.

 

What we want from you – Essential skills:

  • Excellent experience in the energy industry, with a focus on energy trading (wholesale trading, BM, Ancillary services) and renewables – we’d love you to have a knowledge of asset management and operation too.
  • Significant work experience as an account manager within the large Industrial and Commercial space.
  • Exceptional communication skills (verbal, written and listening) and ability to present to a wide range of customer groups.
  • Ability to act as a role model for Limejump’s values and to be an ambassador for our commercial team in the industry.
  • A commitment to developing and building your industry knowledge and relationship network.
  • Good working knowledge of UK energy regulatory frameworks.
  • Demonstrated quantitative skills to examine, understand and apply insights to generate successful outcomes.
  • Ability to multi-task and project manage work in a changing, time-bound working environment.
  • Experience in the trading, dispatch and optimisation of assets.

Working Pattern
Limejump works off hybrid model, split between home and office working.

Unfortunately, Limejump cannot offer 100% remote roles.
