When did you join Limejump? July 2020

What does your role involve?

I manage everything recruitment related and my main priority is getting the best talent through Limejump’s doors. I also work on various recruitment projects and initiatives to ensure we’re continuing to adopt best practices and provide a seamless recruitment experience for all candidates.

What is a typical day like in your role at Limejump?

I typically start off my day by going through my emails and prioritising my work for the day. I check our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) which tracks candidates we have in process for all of the open roles at Limejump and at what stages they’re at. LinkedIn is a great resource for finding talent, so I am actively sourcing, reaching out and responding to candidates, whilst also reviewing market activity. The remainder of my day consists of working closely with internal and external stakeholders on any recruitment-related matters and recruitment projects.

How did you get into your current job role?

I studied for a Bachelor of Human Resource Management and shortly after graduating started my first role at Limejump as a Human Resource Administrator.

What do you enjoy most about your role at Limejump?

Being able to connect with and work with people internally and externally every day. The people at Limejump really make it a fantastic place to work, and I’ve been fortunate enough to work alongside some really talented and passionate people. No two days are the same, and I enjoy the variety and autonomy I am given at Limejump to succeed in my role.

What are the challenges, if any?

Limejump sits within a very niche industry, so my main challenge is finding great talent within a highly competitive and candidate-driven market. Life has changed drastically post COVID-19 and people are becoming increasingly aware of exactly what they want to get out of their employer, which can pose both opportunities and challenges in this new era of recruiting.

What factors helped you decide to pursue a role at Limejump?

I originally started my journey at Limejump as an Agency worker. I was hired temporarily on a 4-week contract and didn’t originally expect to still be here a little less than 2 years later. It was an easy decision to accept a permanent contract as I had never experienced working in such a collaborative working environment and where colleagues are so passionate about the company’s mission.

What advice would you give to somebody considering a role at Limejump?

If you’re passionate about renewable energy/sustainability and like to work in a culture that promotes continuous learning and development…I couldn’t recommend Limejump enough. We also organise the best socials!
