The Role
As Limejump’s Commercial Analytics Manager you will lead our Commercial Analytics team of two. Your team is responsible for supporting Limejump’s commercial team in achieving their ambition of being a market leader in battery storage and renewables in the UK, with high calibre and robust quantitative and qualitative analysis.

Reporting directly to our Head of Commercial and part of the Commercial leadership team, you will be responsible for providing strategic and people leadership of your team, while also leading on analytical matters for new deal structures. Being in the commercial team you will be expected to have customer engagement and will carry a target to deliver new profitable and innovative deal structures. 

You will bring detailed electricity market knowledge and strong analytical skills, with relevant experience in a senior role in Trading, Strategy, Commercial, Energy Analytics or Commercial Finance. In this high profile role you will work closely with the whole Commercial team, alongside Operations, Finance, Tech and our colleagues at Shell Trading. You will have an ability to work collaboratively with people of different skill sets and backgrounds to drive the best outcomes for our customers.


  • Leading a team of two of Commercial and Data Analysts.
  • You will take the lead on all deal based and new initiative based modelling and structuring, this includes building new models from scratch, all numbers will be robust and defensible. 
  • You will be targeted to bring deals in on new structures and propose profitable new structures to Commercial Leads (Batteries and Renewables), ensuring structures are market competitive and commercially viable. 
  • You will assist with strategy and planning initiatives across Limejump with robust market analysis and assumptions.
  • You will support Business Development and Relationship Managers on technical client calls.
  • You will take ownership of qualitative and quantitative UK power market analysis within the Commercial team and leverage business intelligence tools to ensure that this is stored in an intuitive and replicable format.
  • You will own Limejump’s competitor analysis and ensure this is always up to date and market reflective.
  • You will use your industry network to leverage information on UK power market trends and policy and propose subsequent commercial opportunities to Limejump’s Head of Commercial.
  • You will strike a balance with your workload to ensure that time sensitive and bespoke analysis for specific deals or ad hoc tasks is timely and exceeds requirements, alongside delivering on project based work.

What we need from you - Essential Skills:

  • A passion for Limejump’s mission – to optimise a 100% renewable energy future.
  • Demonstrable experience as an expert in the UK power market, this could come from previous consulting, trading, commercial or energy analytics experience.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, you will need the capacity to strike a balance between ad hoc and strategic initiatives.
  • Outstanding analytical and technical skills, with an ability to challenge and be challenged on your numbers.
  • Experience distilling complex analysis into simple, credible, and intuitive presentations for a wide variety of stakeholders.
  • Experience pitching ideas and analysis to various stakeholders, including prospective customers or third parties.
  • Ability to use data and modelling to make informed commercial decisions.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the drive to continuously improve Limejump’s suite of commercial product offerings.

 Desirable Skills:

  • Strong Excel modelling skills, SQL and Python are an advantage.
  • Experience using business reporting tools, including Looker and Salesforce.
  • CFA or equivalent experience in financial structuring and modelling.

Working Pattern
Limejump works off hybrid model, split between home and office working.

Unfortunately, Limejump cannot offer 100% remote roles.
